The original Lamb’s service station was more than what you think of a service station today. When you went to get gas, they pumped it for you, washed your windshield, checked your oil and fluids, and checked the tire pressure, so everything was in good shape. The original Lamb’s service station was on the corner just South of the grocery store. But when the new road came through to Malad, they moved their station two blocks west toward the new road. That is the service station that most of us knew about. At one time, there was also a small cafe where the Nish ran in that same area.
