Plymouth Peak – AKA Gunsight Peak

Living in the shadow of the mountains was a blessing. Easter was when we would hike up the mountain and roast hot dogs and marshmallows, and the boys would camp out and spend the night. There was a cold spring at Bishop’s Canyon that was wonderful to drink. Many Christmas trees were cut down for our home. Part of Plymouth Mountain was used to run the beef cattle in the summertime. Boyd and Garth would always have to go up on the mountain before deer season to bring the cattle home and prepare for winter. The falls were so beautiful to see each year.
