Schoolhouse

Site of School House – Built 1891,1935

The schoolhouse had three large classrooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen for hot, delicious meals—especially Jetta’s hot rolls. One was for grades 1-3, another for 4-6 grades, and the third for assemblies, movies and music time, and a playroom during bad weather. We had large swings and baseball fields below the school and lots of grass to run and play on. Grandma Jean taught school there for years.
